Ken Trentowski of the Aviators named rookie of the month for January...



Ken Trentowski a 6'1" 185 lb. 23 year old New York native from Ronkonkoma, Long Island, NY has been named the January rookie of the month by the FHL. Trentowski has earned 12 points in January which leads all the Aviators D-Men. He has one goal and 11 assists in the 11 games that he has played in the month of January.

Ken T is the leading D-Man for the Brooklyn Aviators with 6 goals and 28 points and his 22 assists is tied for the second most on the team. Trentowski is now tied second most for D-Men on the Aviators team and is tied for fourth in the FHL for D-Men with his 28 points in the 33 games played so far this season.

Trentowski played for the Yale Bulldogs (NCAA I) from 2007-2011 and had a stint with the Augusta Riverhawks of the SPHL. While with the Yale Bulldogs he played on 2 championship (ECAC) teams and totaled two goals and eleven assists for 15 points at the collegiate level. Ken also had a stint with the Augusta Riverhawks there he had 2 helpers in two games. 


His coach at the Brooklyn Aviators (ROB MILLER) was quoted as saying,"Ken is a reliable defenseman that the team can count on each night, while his game continues to improve." Coach Miller also stated the "We are very proud of Ken and his achievement."
